| I've just made a picspam over at my journal. The subject is David's neck. Because I'm in that kind of mood. A few crude comments but mainly lots of pretty pictures. Definitely not dial-up friendly. Over here | |

I believe the first one will be available from the BBC website (possibly even larger, as soon as they've got it functional) (bigger one now added) as part of the fourth day of the Adventure Calendar. The rest are screencaps. ETA:So I don't clutter up the comm with excess posts, I've added the new stings to the end of this entry. Courtesy of Blogtor Who. | Title: Cloisters 26/26 Author: Cloud wildwinterwitchBeta: Well, xebgoc, of course. Thank you. Pairing: Ten/Rose Rating: T Disclaimer: Everything Who is owned by RTD and the BBC. I only come to play in their sandbox. Summary: “Ready to go home?”Twenty-Five

| Title:Mummies and Daddies Characters:Ten/Rose, OCs Rating: All Warnings: Lots of fluff and babies. Disclaimer: Not. Never. Summary: The Doctor watches his girls play before checking in on Rose. Author’s Note: Written for mrs_roy who tripped me up in my stump the author challenge. She requested daddy Ten and pregnant Rose. She then proceeded to unknowingly help me title it. Follow the link, but beware the cute... | |

| The girls loved their mother’s diamond ring. The Doctor tried to tell them that a diamond ring had little meaning outside of Earth, that there was no reason for them to be so taken with it (other than it sparkled, and that was, he knew, enough for his girls). Rose let them try it on sometimes, too big for their little fingers. “Do you think I’ll have such a pretty ring someday?” Fortuna asked him, wistfully. The Doctor looked at her and said, “Do you want one?” She nodded. “Then, yes,” he answered. He liked when things were so simple. | |

| I would like to know why my .doc file with all the advent calendar drabbles keeps refusing to open in Word. I can open it in WordPad, luckily, so I haven't lost any work, but it's kind of annoying.
The error message:

Thoughts, anyone? I've opened it just fine previously - yesterday, as a matter of fact - but today, no go.
(Hmm. I can't open anything in Word now. Weird weird weird.)OMG, I figured it out. I can't open anything in Word when I have Scribus open. The second I close Scribus, success. Scribus being the program I'm using for the cookbook layout. What the heck, computer?

| Title: Peter's Christmas Author: azrionaCharacters: Peter Pettigrew Rating: PG Summary: Christmas with a family is still Christmas alone. A/N: Day Four of the Advent Calendar Drabbles. Request your own here. Today's drabble prompt is brought to you by ashfae, who sent me to my fandom roots and requested Harry Potter. I am boring, and titling my drabbles with the prompt (more or less). ( Peter's Christmas ) | |

| Title: Into Dust Author: sombrewolfRating: PG Characters: Eight/Rose, Nine/Rose, Ten/Rose, Jackie Summary: With time as the weaver, Rose is threaded through the Doctor's life in a number of different ways. This is her journey. Disclaimer: I own the story, not the characters. Oh, if only. Author's Note: This is an odd piece that combines a number of ideas I know have been done before, but hopefully makes some kind of sense out of them. It's set after "Father's Day" and contains spoilers for, amongst others, "Journey's End". ( He’s lost family too, ancestry just dead and gone like dust in the wind. ) | |

Give a little to help a lot!

In honor of National AIDS Awareness month, we've added a new charitable vgift. For each red ribbon you purchase for $2.99, we'll donate 100 percent of gross proceeds to IAVI.org (the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative) to support the development and global distribution of an affordable HIV vaccine (we'll cover credit card fees). You can read more about IAVI at lj_cares. While we're on the subject, we raised $740 from our November fundraiser for Love Without Boundaries, which supports emergency healthcare and adoption of Chinese orphans. We thank you for helping us help others.

| I thought you guys might get a kick out of this pic. The car was in front of me on my commute to work this morning. So there ARE die-hard Who fans in America (Los Angeles specifically.) I'm impressed their plate was "TARDIS" and not "TARDIS1" or "TARDIS2", which probably means they've probably had these plates long before NuWho!!! - Mood:amused
